Extending Experiments

experiment tab

Experiments can also be extended with new data, this allows experiments to be finished piece meal, loaded and analyzed as the data becomes ready as opposed to loading the data when it is all complete.  There is one major caveat that bears repeating, when an experiment is loaded it doesn't take into account previous data.  This means that all replicates should be loaded in the same session.  To an extend an experiment, select the desired experiment and click on the Extend button in the commands pane.

Experiments can only be extended with protocols that create the same type of score.  For example, an experiment that computes "Percent Enhancement" cannot be extended with an experiment that computes "Percent Inhibition."  These must be seperate experiments.
