Controlled Vocabularies
Controlled vocabularies are objects that define specific
vocabularies used to enter data in various forms. Examples of
these vocabularies are the locations and units table. For example,
If your lab wants to specify new locations that you would like to indicate
different locations within your laboratory, simply add them to the
locations table.
If you have other vocabularies that you would like to control but aren't
related to any of the other objects stored in SLIMS inventory, you can
see the vocab table to add new controlled vocabularies.
