SLIMS Small Laboratory Information Management System SLIMS is a Laboratory Information Management System designed for small academic laboratories.  It includes many of the features found in expensive systems and several features that are not.   This manual will introduce SLIMS in a tutorial form and walk the user through most of the common tasks for using and administering SLIMS.
