Batch


A batch is simply a compound in a physical location within the laboratory.  These positions include microtiter plates and vials.

When loading results into SLIMS, batches must be referenced.  This is most often accomplished by loading plate data specified by a barcode.  To find more about plates and barcodes, you may start here.
