Using the tutorials

The manual includes various tutorials that can be used to understand how various parts of SLIMS work.  These tutorial databases are included in the tutorial package that can be downloaded and installed from sourceforge.

When directed, simply open up the tutorial database and follow the instructions.  Since completing a tutorial will alter the contents of the tutorial databases, if you want to repeat a given tutorial, simply reinstall the tutorial package.

The password for all tutorial databases is "slims" without the quotes and in lower case.
